So, we have been talking a lot about combined medical programmes (BS/MED programmes). The reason is that this is the new and the increasingly popular option for getting into college for a medical degree.
Well, you might wonder why exactly many people are drifting towards this new dual-degree path over the more traditional undergrad path. Especially because it isn’t just limited to medicine, but also in other career paths such as law and other graduate schools.
Well, two of the greatest benefits these combined BS/MED programmes in the United States offer include reduced stress since you get early admission into med school (or law school or whatever the programme). They also offer fewer number of years spent in school which is often. But not always the case. Because of these benefits, these programmes are becoming more and more popular, especially the medical programmes.
Combined BS/MED Programmes in the United States
Combined BS/MED programmes are, by far, the most sought-after dual-degree programmes in the United States. However, they have the lowest acceptance rates. Every application cycle, thousands and thousands of applications are sent out to different colleges for the combined BS/MD degree. Each year, only a very meager percentage of people eventually get accepted. In fact, the acceptance rates of these combined BS/MED programmes are even lower than those of most Ivies! Word!
So, what can we do to help? We have provided lots of information in different articles about these BS/MED programmes. We hope that you can take advantage of them. Use them to give yourself the winning edge you need to get into the programme of your dreams. Today, what we have done is to do some thorough research and come up with the complete list of all BS/MED programmes in the United States that you can apply for! Click on the following links to check them out and thank us later. Leggo!

READ: Nailing Your BS/MED Programme Interview
If you recall, we briefly talked about Early Assurance programmes the last time we discussed combined BS/MD programmes. They are slightly different from the regular combined BS/MD programmes. You do not get a conditional spot in med school on acceptance into the institution, but with early assurance programmes. Instead of following the traditional premed path of completing four years of undergrad first, you can easily apply to med school in your freshman or sophomore year. Just like the regular combined BS/MD programmes, this option also saves you some time and money. If you like the sound of that, keep reading to find out your options.
We will now go ahead to list all the schools in the US where you can apply for such programmes.
